[Exclusive] Interview with Singer-Songwriter Jvde Milez

Jvde Milez is a brilliant singer-songwriter with a sleek and warm vocal tone, whose music has a chill, sensual and addicting vibe. KpopWise got the chance to chat with him about his latest release "The Light," as well as upcoming plans.

Hello! Can you introduce yourself to the readers?

Hi, I’m Jvde Milez. R&B singer songwriter from South Korea.

When did you become interested in music?

I got interested in music when I went to Australia at the age of 12. The music that I found was way different from Kpop back then. Such as Usher, Omarion, and Chris Brown. But I took it serious when I listened to Bryson Tiller.

Can you tell us about your single “The Light”?

Well, I was just trying to make something different. Discussed a lot with the producer KINDA (He’s amazingly talented), and just came out straight away. It was made 2years ago but was just trying to see the right time to put out.

What's your inspiration for songwriting?

Especially when it comes to relationships and breakups. Lol. But I get inspired by sci-fi movies these days.

How do you describe your style?

Nostalgic, futuristic.

What is your creative process like?

Used to make music right after the breakup. But nowadays I just get in the booth and let it flow with the vibe. Haha.

Who are people you have had a collaboration with?

Way Ched, Whee In of MAMAMOO, Jay Moon, Kyle Lo, El Rune, NEKOBLUE.

You are multitalented from composing to directing, but is  there something you want to learn?

Real estate investment lol.

What can we expect from you next?

New single coming out again next month. It’s going to be a busy year.

What is a message you would give to your fans?

Thank you for vibing with me, supporting my music, and believing in me as always.

Anything else?

New song coming out end of September! Please stay tuned in~~

Special thanks to Jvde for this interview. We look forward to the new release!
