Monthly Roundup January 2022: Choi, Kinda Blue, Play:Moon and Kim Wan Sun

2022 kicked off strong with new releases from many of our favorite artists. Some notable releases include songs by Max Changmin, MOMOLAND, fromis_9, AB6IX, PENTAGON and Kyuhyun as well as  the much anticipated debut of Kep1er and Girls on Top.

Legendary dance queen and singer Kim Wan Sun returned with her latest single "Feeling" on January 6.

The song stays true to the 80's sound with an addictive melody. "Feeling" is described as dance music with a strong beat that goes beyond retro and trend. Wan Sun participated in the directing and editing of the music video herself.

She said to look forward to various appearances in the future and greeted everyone with a Happy New Year.

Mysterious singer KINDA BLUE (aka Hyunkyu of Vromance...probably) has released their single "Color" featuring Moon Sujin on January 16.

"Color" was written and composed by both KINDA BLUE and Moon Sujin. The music video shows an (apparently) broken-up couple deep in thought about their relationship and eventually find themselves back to each other. The video features HIGH4's Youngjun as the male actor.

The group is expected to release its music on February 24.

On January 30 Singer-songwriter CHOI (초이) released wrote and composed the song himself. The ballad song 'The Sea' was completed by adding the piano performance of artist 'Swing' and the voice of CHOI.

Localhigh Records stated;

When life feels meaningless and difficult, it is a good song to listen to about someone who has become a ray of light with a heart like the sea!
