Rookie Girl Group XG Announces First Comeback in June

 



The week has started with much exciting news for XG’s fans. This Monday (25), XGALX officially announced the next single of the girl group. A teaser posted on the group's social media showed a mysterious message with the estimated release date of the song: “June XX 2022”. Without revealing many details about the concept or the title of the track, the artists wish to maintain their huge fanbase on their tiptoes. 

The format of the teaser has the style that XG has been following since its beginning: iconic, unique, and creative which stirred fans' curiosity to see what is coming next. The first pieces of information about the group started to be released at the end of January with posts that little by little revealed each of the seven members. The teasers showed their talents through covers and dance performances.

XG officially debuted on March 18 with the hit single “Tippy Toes”, mixing R&B and hip hop beats. The song was made aiming to challenge the structure and stereotypes, becoming an act beyond K-POP or J-POP, with a global and borderless goal.

With their successful debut, the group sold out “Tippy Toes” physical copies in less than 48 hours after announcing the pre-sale. The success continued once they reached the top of iTunes charts in 7 countries and the TOP 10 in other 15 regions, including the USA and Japan. The official music video of the song surpassed 13 million views and it is available on the group’s YouTube channel along with other dance covers and performances that also have incredible numbers. The public interest is also in SNS, where thousands of fans follow the group that attracts new admirers daily.

The expectations for the release that will start a new chapter on XG’s journey are high.
