The film is being produced by Lynda Obst and Korean agency CJ Entertainment's Miky Lee. The film is directed by award-winning South Korean filmmaker JK Youn known for Ode to My Father (2014).

The story revolved around a K-pop group that gets stranded with no phones, money, or transportation in Waxo, Texas, days before their American debut at Madison Square Garden and must find away to overcome differences and obstacles to make it there in time.

The filming for the movie is expected to begin this fall.
