Who remembers True Beauty trending on TikTok back in 2020? We know we do! It feels like it’s been ages since it was released, but the debate of whether we were Team Suho or Team Seojun feels like it just happened yesterday. However, we’re not here to have this debate (although we would love to), we’re here to highlight three of the products that caught our attention (and are on our wishlist) after watching the amazing rom-com, True Beauty.
Remember that scene where Jookyung was learning how to do her makeup and various makeup products with neutral shades and nice packaging were shown? Among those products was an eyeshadow palette with pink, brownish tones from the brand Colorgram. So if you’re someone who loves wearing neutral eyeshadow colors and a bit of sparkle, this product is perfect for an everyday eyeshadow look.
The next product we just had to mention is the gorgeous Thunderbolt lip tint, also by Colorgram. What makeup lover doesn’t own a lipstick or lip tint that is some shade of red? It’s a must-have in the makeup world! Not only that, but this red lip tint is such a rich color, which makes it perfect for those who love the gradient lip look.
Last but not least, we have the iconic swan necklace that Suho gifts Jookyung later on in the storyline. Just a little FYI, this was one of our favorite scenes.
Do you remember the details of the necklace? For those of you who don’t, it was a beautiful gold-plated jewelry piece with a shiny, light pink crystal in the center. Although it wasn’t a large, extravagant necklace, the details are what we loved the most because the overall look of the pendant was minimal yet eye-catching.
Now, although it’s summer, Christmas is right around the corner and only a few months away. With that being said, if you know someone in your life who loves makeup and K-dramas, consider gifting them one of the products we listed. We’re sure they’ll love them!
