With Omega X members Kim Jae Han and Shin Ye Chan set to star in the upcoming South Korean boys love drama "A Shoulder to Cry On", which is preparing to air next month, we here at KpopWise take a look at five other boys love dramas to feature K-pop idols.

This eight episode South Korean boys love drama has a total run time of 116 minutes, and features 2Z's Bum Jun playing budding fashion design student Ki Jin and THE MAN BLK's Eom Se Ung playing part-time delivery worker Yeong Woo.

"Behind Cut" was originally released in 2021, and is available on streaming service Viki.


Color Rush


Season 1: Hur Hyun Jun of The Boyz

Season 2: Hyuk of VIXX


The first eight episode season of this show has a total run time of 135 minutes, and features actor Yoo Jun playing neurologically monochromatically blind student Yeon Woo and former The Boyz member Hur Hyun Jun playing his "probe", the one person who lets him see colours.


The second eight episode season comes in with a total run time of 127 minutes, and features the return of actor Yoo Jun, along with a new potential love interest in VIXX member Hyuk, playing the role of Se Hyun.

"Color Rush" was originally released in 2020, and "Color Rush 2" was originally released in 2022. Both are available on streaming service Viki.


Nobleman Ryu's Wedding


Kang In Soo of MYNAME

Han Se Jin of Produce X 101


This eight episode comedic drama comes in at a total runtime of 94 minutes, and features MYNAME's Kang In Soo playing the role of Ryu Ho Seon, who finds himself married to Choi Ki Wan (played by Produce X 101 contestant Han Se Jin), the brother of the bridge he was supposed to be wed to.

"Nobleman Ryu's Wedding" was originally released in 2021, and is available on both LINE TV and WeTV.


Ocean Likes Me


Holland

Han Gi Chan of Produce X 101


This eight episode healing food romance drama features a total running time of 128 minutes, and features Produce X 101 contestant Han Gi Chan playing the role of Han Ba Da, whose lifelong dream has always been to open his own seaside udon restaurant. But with no idea how to keep his business afloat, he requires the help of Tommy (played by K-pop soloist Holland) - a failed musician with no idea of what he's going to do with his life.

"Ocean Likes Me" was originally released in 2022, and is available on streaming service Viki.


Semantic Error


Park Seo Ham of KNK

Park Jae Chan of DKZ


In this eight episode enemies to lovers romantic drama - with a total runtime of 190 minutes - DKZ member Park Jae Chan plays the role of Chu Sang Woo, a junior computer science student who finds himself at the ire of senior student Jang Jae Young (played by former KNK member Park Seo Ham).
