In the aftermath of the disaster in Itaewon, Seoul, that took place Saturday, October 29, various programs and events scheduled for the next following days have been canceled or postponed.

Among the canceled events include the Busan One Asia K-POP Concert - with 13 Korean artists and 40,000 fans scheduled to attend, SMTOWN's annual Halloween party and entertainment programs, including SBS Inkigayo and Running Man. Instead, emergency news reports related to the Itaewon disaster will air in place. Additionally, other concerts, fan sign events, and Halloween streams were announced to be canceled out of respect for the victims.

Halloween celebrations in Itaewon, Seoul, held for the first time in 3 years as COVID-19 regulations were lifted, hosting around 100,000 people, turned into a heartbreaking tragedy where at least 153 people, including 20 foreigners, died, and over 82 were injured by a massive crowd crush. South Korean President Yoon ordered a national mourning for the victims lasting until November 5.

We send our deepest condolences to the casualties, families, and friends involved in the terrible incident, and we hope that the missing are found safely.
