Seventeen to Release Brand New Japanese Album "Always Yours" this Summer

Seventeen have announced their next comeback with the album ‘Seventeen Japan Best Album (Always Yours). The album sets to be a best-of album compiled of their original Japanese songs and versions alongside brand new songs set for release Wednesday, August 23rd. It comes hot off the success of their 10th mini album ‘FML.’ The album not only garnered rave reviews from fans but went on to set a record for exceeding 4.64 million in pre-orders.

The album with five tracks showcased the beauty of the mundane aspects of life. A strong message to accept the current statute as it is will be a greater comfort and hope than any ambiguous comfort. This was showcased strongly in “F*ck My Life” a melodic opening track to the album. The lead single and hit "Super (손오공)" not only had a catchy hook but also had an impressive video with tight choreography, with visuals resembling that of a movie production. Fans were able to appreciate the artistry in both the music and visuals.

The band has announced their upcoming tour in Japan, which will take place in September, November, and December across 5 cities. Prior to their Japan tour, a series of shows called Follow To Seoul will be held in July.

Pre-orders for “Always Yours” start June 22nd, 11 am JST with the album release on August 23rd. Are you looking forward to Alway yours? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to follow KpopWise for all the latest news on your favorite idols!
