On July 9, 2023, Moon Jongup visited Queens New York, for The Shops at Skyview's K-Fun festival K-pop Day for a Meet & Greet. K-Fun Day was expanded to a whole month of celebrating Korean culture through art, music, and food. JongUp performed for the fans and engaged in activities such as designing T-shirts and preparing Korean food.

The visit marked the first time in 10 years since JongUp came on tour as a member of BAP. The fans from back then and the new fans he received from his recent appearance in the JBTC idol team survival show Peak Time were ecstatic to see the idol and greeted him with excited cheers to the grateful JongUp.

JongUp performed songs such 'Us' and a solo version of  24 o'clock's 'This that Shh' produced by Jay Park accompanied by the New York-based dance crew AKF.

KpopWise asked JongUp about what is it like to perform as a soloist instead of a group member. In which he responded in a group he only has to do his part well and trust his team members to do their part to create a cool stage, but as a solo artist, he has more responsibility and things to think of. As for artists he would like to collaborate with, he would of course like to collab with the BAP members again.
