On July 31, SM officially introduced their new boy group RIIZE which consists of 7 members. The group is set to debut in September! The meaning behind the group's name comes from the words "Rise" and Realize". SM states the message stands for "A team that will rise and realize their dreams together."
The focused genre for RIIZE is called "Emotional pop" where they plan to express themselves in a way others can relate to. It has been awhile since SM Entertainment launched a boy group seven years to be exact.
RIIZE members will be revealed on their Instagram account August 1st. More about the group to be revealed leading up to their debut.
