It’s always a dream to get new music from a BTS member, and as promised j-hope has truly delivered once again with the heavenly new single "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” a dreamy, R&B infused love song that is accompanied by a visually pleasing music video. The track had its first performance during the opening dates of his Hope On The Stage tour in Seoul, where he took a break from his previous fiery performances and sat to bask in the glow of ARMY bombs, and the special second day project that bathed him in a glow of white light. Taken back by the project he exclaimed how surprised he was and couldn't concentrate during the performance thanks to the beauty of the crowd. Over the three days, fans quickly learned the lyrics, dissected the message and were ready to sing back word for word.
Sweet Dreams stays true to that R&B sound we love about j-hope however this time he's gone down a refreshing love song route. While his past tracks often explore themes of personal growth, and ambition, this song feels refreshing to hear- its light and airy that feels like floating on clouds with a sunny Sunday vibe. Miguel’s rich, gorgeous and delectable vocals that somehow gel so well with j-hopes. Together it merges a dreamy fusion of synths, vibrant guitar strums, and soft, tender vocal to capture the euphoria of falling in love. Regarding his collaboration with Miguel, j-hope stated, “He is one of the artists I grew up listening to since I was young. I believed that Miguel's distinctive, and rich voice along with his unique artistry would blend seamlessly with the song, and as expected, it turned out amazing.” Migeul added, “Sweet Dreams is really a nice reprieve, and I'm happy I got to pair with j-hope on his track.”
The music video brings the song's dreamy essence to life, featuring a floating house in the sky that expands as love grows. j-hope walks through, a street where ordinary people radiate an otherworldly and ethereal colourful aura - something that takes us back to his Hope World era. The release follows his collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Don Toliver on LV Bag further showcasing his versatility.

Leading up to the single, the promotions have included j-hope hosting a 12 hour sleepover livestream, where he ordered food, chatted with fans, and true to his word slept. The live show went on to garner 26 million views. Upon waking, he met ARMYS to discuss the single, and teach the fun - but challenging- dance routine. The first dance challenge features BTS member Jin - to those who wish to try- try your best and enjoy. j-hope will also be appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon alongside in what's sure to be an exciting performance, conceding the US leg of HOPE On the stage tour.
