The MOA Arena sparkled brighter than ever as fans were welcomed by a glittering screen bearing a name they wouldn’t soon forget—Minhoverse!
On April 26, women (and men too!) of indeterminate age flocked to the arena, ready for nearly two hours of undivided attention from Korean superstar Lee Min Ho. It felt like stepping into a universe where only Min Ho existed: as Gu Jun Pyo from Boys Over Flowers, Kim Tan from The Heirs, Lee Gon from The King: Eternal Monarch, and his newest fan-favorite role, Gong Ryong from When the Stars Gossip.
The night was a rollercoaster of emotions. Min Ho opened the show with a song, giving the audience a precious moment to soak it all in before the screams officially erupted. Chaos (the good kind) ensued during the fan-sent Q&A and never let up! Afterward came a creative Masterclass segment, where fans voted on his unforgettable scenes—Best Ending Scene, Best Kiss Scene, and Best Role. Lucky voters even took home priceless treats! One of the most special moments of the night came when four lucky fans—aka God’s Favorites—got to play tumbang preso (a traditional Filipino game) and pop-the-balloon with Lee Min Ho himself. Sure, Min Ho’s athleticism helped him win, but we all know who the real winners were.
Filipino Minoz also surprised him with a heartfelt video message. What Min Ho thought was a simple group photo op turned into a touching tribute, and he knelt on stage, visibly moved and close to tears as he watched. If he didn't know before, he surely knows now: he’ll always have a home in our hearts.
Though billed as a fan meeting, Min Ho didn’t hold back on showcasing his vocal talents, treating us not to just two songs—but six! Each one brought a different kind of magic, making everyone feel personally serenaded. Just when we thought it was over, he returned for an encore, proving once again that Minhoverse is the gift that keeps on giving.
It was the hardest goodbye, but Lee Min Ho promised he’d be back—and after a night like that, so will we.
