In a collaboration between MLD Entertainment PH and TV5, the boy group survival show "Be the Next: 9 Dreamers" concluded with the selection of nine talented individuals, including former The KingDom members Ivan and Yunho, to form MLD's newest boy group.

The competition which began airing February 8, showcased performers from across Asia who competed for their chance at a K-pop debut. What began with 74 hopefuls culminated in an intense battle for nine coveted positions in the newly formed group.
