The final chapter in j-hope’s mature and sensual single trilogy will be arriving soon with the news of the brand new track Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla). Revealed in a surprise concept film titled Charm of HOPE at 11pm KST, it not only took fans by surprise but also excited them with the striking story of his three releases being told by the artistic visuals of the short 2-minute film. It once again shows the varying levels of j-hope thus far in this saga. As always, everything is carefully interlinked, with each song linked to the previous releases this year.

What now feels like a lifetime ago, he began the mini-chapter with the dreamy Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel), the sultry Mona Lisa, and Killin’ It Girl will be another step towards his maturing sound and confident vision he is eager to show. He recently took centre stage as Billboard's May cover star, where he talked about his solo endeavours, and he hinted at how he wanted to explore a more sexier side to his work.
To say j-hope is anything less than cool would be an understatement. Seeing him come into his true artistic flair, he once again will showcase his love for hip hop with rapper GloRilla featuring on the track. In a statement by BigHit, the lyrics are set to express “the thrill of love at first sight. Imbued with refreshing honesty, the lyrics depict an infatuation towards a confident and irresistible other. Its minimalistic production strikes a perfect balance with j-hope’s rhythmic rap and addictive hook, adding that the presence of GloRilla will showcase “whose unmistakable delivery and bold charisma bring an extra edge to the track, amplifying its fearless energy."
2025 has undoubtedly been an incredibly vibrant year for j-hope, who is still currently nearing the end of his HOPE ON THE STAGE tour. It concludes in Osaka, Japan, on Sunday, 31st May, which fans can catch at cinemas with a live viewing ticket. This will then be concluded by two final shows, HOPE ON THE STAGE: THE FINAL at Goyang Stadium, Seoul, taking place on June 13th and 14th. No doubt fans will be eager to hear the debut single live. The third single, I’m sure, will be another unexpected side to j-Hope – just when we think we’ve seen it all, he adds another layer of intrigue and artistry that is ever expanding.
Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla) will be available on streaming platforms worldwide on June 13. Additionally, a solo version titled Killin’ It Girl (Solo Version), featuring j-hope’s vocals only, will be released simultaneously.
