Mnet's Survival Show Boys II Planet K to Begin Filming on May 11

Boys II Planet begins filming next week.

According to an interview with Daily Sports on May 9, Mnet’s survival program Boys II Planet the second installment of 2023's Boys Planet will begin its first filming on May 11.

On the 11th, the production team will gather all the cast members together for their first filming. On the 12th, they plan to film a ‘level test’ to evaluate each applicant’s skills.

Boys II Planet will feature members of groups that have already debuted in the music industry, such as VeriVery, Whib, and DKB –who all recently announced member hiatuses, as well as the new faces of trainees who have yet to debut.

The project is presented by the production team of ‘Boys Planet’, which created the representative 5th generation K-pop group ZEROBASEONE, and is the world’s first K-pop twin project presented by Mnet. "K" and "C" which share the same format and worldview, will be produced simultaneously.

Each program will select separate debut groups in Korean and Chinese. Attention is focused on whether a K-pop group that can follow in the footsteps of ZEROBASEONE’s popularity can be born through Boys II Planet K. Meanwhile, Boys II Planet K will air in the second half of this year.
