MONSTA X Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary with Rerecorded Tracks for "NOW PROJECT Vol. 1"

MONSTA X celebrates its 10th debut anniversary on May 14. 10 years is a time that cannot be defined simply by numbers. It is the time of existence that MONSTA X has proven on stage, in music, and with fans. Now the group rewrites the past into the present tense.

"NOW PROJECT vol. 1" is not a simple commemorative album. It is not a reminiscence that looks back on past memories, nor is it a history organized in numbers. This album is a new declaration that MONSTA X has made to sing (NOW) again.

'NOW' means 'present' and is also a word that reverses (upside down) the 'MON' that makes up the group name. This is a symbol that most directly contains the identity and perspective that constitutes the current MONSTA X. We look back at the name, go back in time, and fill in the voices that were empty back then with the voices of the complete 6 members.

This album contains a total of 10 rerecorded representative title songs and tracks released between 2021 and 2023. The music from the period when some members were unable to participate due to military service was completed again with the full group of 6 members. Now, having regained the word 'complete group' in front of the name 'Monsta X', they sing while facing the time with their fans head-on.

From the title songs 'Rush Hour', 'LOVE', and 'Beautiful Liar' to 'It's Okay', 'DENY', and 'I Love You' that received deep sympathy from fans, each song represents Monsta X at that time, while also containing emotions and messages that are valid even at this moment. It is not a time that repeats the past, but a time that continues and continues to be written in the present tense.

This project is a record, a restoration, a retrospective, and a declaration and the first chapter will be the prelude to more stories. Now, Monsta X's time has begun to flow again. And ‘NOW PROJECT’ is just the starting point of that flow. It is not just a single retrospective, but an album that proves the current MONSTA X as MONSTA X most.

Mark your calendars, MONBEBE! This August, MONSTA X will be taking the stage at KCON LA 2025 as a COMPLETE GROUP! Before then, could a comeback be in the works?
