ARTMS Releases "Club Icarus" EP and Cinematic Music Video

On June 13, group ARTMS released their EP "Club Icarus."

Everyone living in a modern metropolis lives with a wound hidden in a corner of their heart. Beneath the elaborately built forest of buildings with flashy lights, there are those who live hiding in the shadows. They gather in their own secret virtual club, "Club Icarus", and pour out their stories.

That is why the intro song title is ‘Club for the Broken’. It was named as a club for the wounded.

The title song ‘Icarus’ contains the hope that those who have been wounded will grow new life like the myth of Icarus, and hope that new hope will bloom on top of those wounds. The rhythm and melody that gradually builds up within the elaborately repeated piano line declare that ARTMS is the most aesthetic group in K-POP.

In particular, the music video with Digipedi maximized the artistry by incorporating modern dance and was completed through the perfect synchronization of the members.

Obsessed’ sings about obsession, one of the modern diseases that city people live with. It deals with the current era where stress is constantly relieved through food, consumption, and obsession with others. However, the expression expressed in music is not neurotic or harsh, but simply beautiful. It may be a disease to some, but in fact, obsession is a beautiful instinct.

Goddess’ is the most unexpected track on <Club Icarus>. The genre is Hyper Pop. And the expressions are all polished in English. The hook is empty rather than filled. Aren’t these extreme and vacuum expressions the very image of us living in 2025?

Verified Beauty’ was a song that was prepared since ARTMS first signed with Modhaus. The moment the five girls took a step into the bigger world, the young girls became women with independent beauty.

The last track, ‘Burn’, was already a pre-released song on OMA, and contains the present from LOONA to ARTMS. After waiting for 6 years. And now, they are burning everything and spreading new wings. I hope that the loneliness, solitude, and wounds of those living in the city center can be comforted by "Club Icarus".

ARTMS held a showcase on the 13th and performed the new songs.
