Chicago fans were treated to an unforgettable night as rising K-pop group 82MAJOR brought their "82 SYNDROME" Tour to the Logan Square Auditorium on July 2. The six-member act delivered a high-energy performance, showcasing their powerful vocals, sharp choreography, and undeniable charisma.The setlist kicked off with the bold "TAKEOVER", immediately setting the tone for the night. Tracks like "Stuck", "Heroes", and "Gossip" kept the momentum going, with the group seamlessly transitioning between intense dance breaks and smooth vocal moments.
A standout moment came during "Face Time", when the crowd enthusiastically sang along, filling the venue with their voices—a touching display of fan love.
The mood shifted with "Birthday", a bright and cheerful performance that had everyone smiling, before diving back into harder-hitting tracks like "Passport" and "Illegal". The "FIRST CLASS" segment ramped up the energy even further, with "Choke" and "Sure Thing" highlighting the group’s versatility and stage presence.
During a ment, YE CHAN shared, "This is our first ever tour, we practiced a lot, like crazy, more than we usually do." The members added, "We're studying English so we can communicate with you guys and made two songs."
For the encore, the members returned for a heartfelt performance of "Promise You", leaving fans on a sentimental note. By the end of the night, it was clear that 82MAJOR had left a lasting impression on Chicago.
Their ability to balance explosive energy with genuine emotion, coupled with their dedication to connecting with fans, solidified their potential in the music scene. 82MAJOR had not just performed, but for that moment taken over Chicago, leaving fans counting down the days until their next return.
