SEVENTEEN’s DINO lit up the stage during the grand opening ceremony of the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025), delivering a performance that was anything but subtle. Not only that but he became the first ever K-pop artist to perform at the event. Known as SEVENTEEN’s youngest member (maknae), DINO showcased his signature sharp dance moves on the evening of July 10th at the world’s biggest esports event on the evening of July 10th.

Taking centre stage, he performed the official EWC 2025 track, Til My Fingers Bleed, dominating as only he knows how. Sharing the stage with a star-studded lineup—including Post Malone, GRAMMY-nominated DJ Alesso, and celebrated cellist Tina Guo.

Joining Dino onstage were his collaborators: American rapper, singer, and producer Duckwrth, along with singer-songwriter Telle Smith of the metalcore band The Word Alive. While the trio might seem like an unexpected collaboration, their energy together proved electrifying. Dino and Telle’s vocals complement each other surprisingly well, making for a strong case to see more genre crossovers in the future. Fusing together K-pop, hip-hop, and rock, the performance was a celebration of not only the event but also the musical diversity.

The highlight came during the climatic finale, where DINO and the ensemble delivered a flawless show-stopping group choreography, drawing explosive cheers from the audience. His precision and stage presence were a testament to his 10 years of experience performing globally with SEVENTEEN, as well as his recent success and choreography work on his solo debut EP, Wait.

The song itself is anthemic and battle-cry-esque, which is perfectly suited for an event on this scale. The production team behind the track previously worked on multiple ‘League of Legends World Championship’ anthems, including the hit POP/STARS by K/DA. The choreography was crafted by renowned UK choreographer Jay Revell, known for his work with global artists such as David Guetta, Dua Lipa, and Anne-Marie.

The Esports World Cup is the world’s largest esports tournament, which attracted 2.6 million visitors and over 500 million online viewers last year. EWC 2025, running from July 7 to August 24, offers a total prize pool exceeding $70 million, making it one of the highest-paying international esports competitions.
