Acclaimed Korean rapper and producer Loco returns with his highly anticipated third studio album, SCRAPS, released July 8 via Warner Music Korea. The album is a powerful reflection on transformation, identity, and rebirth - a body of work that reclaims unfinished ideas and reimagines them into something strikingly original.
Taking its name from the fragments of demos, lyrics, and melodies once left behind, SCRAPS sees Loco revive those pieces into a polished, forward-facing collection of songs that speak to the artist’s evolving vision. “What once felt incomplete now shines with new life,” Loco shares.
Spanning hip-hop, R&B, and atmospheric rap, SCRAPS features a compelling lineup of collaborators from across the globe, including Feby Putri, Jordan Ward, TAICHU, Young Coco, and 1MILL, adding cultural texture and richness to the project. Lead single “No where” (Feat. Feby Putri) introduces the album’s emotional core - a synth-driven track that explores distance and disconnection with aching clarity.
This marks Loco’s first full-length project since parting ways with AOMG after over a decade. With hits like Hold Me Tight, HELLO, and BLEACHED, Loco has long been a staple of Korea’s hip-hop scene. With SCRAPS, Loco enters a new era reinvented, re-energised, and creatively free.
SCRAPS also marks the beginning of a new creative era, with upcoming promotional activities in Japan and a year-end headline concert planned in Korea.
Loco has gone from a teenager writing rap songs at school to one of Korean hip-hop’s most respected voices - always guided by purpose and perspective. SCRAPS is a culmination of that spirit - unfiltered, unbound by genre, and globally connected.
