On September 9, Dayoung has released her solo debut single album "gonna love me, right?"
Dayoung, who has cultivated a lively energy and unique character through her time with WJSN and the unit WJSN Chocome, will now perform solo for the first time. Ten years after her debut, Dayoung has moved beyond the familiarity of team activities and embarks on a journey as an artist who plans, creates, and expresses herself.
From the music to the concept and music video which was filmed in LA, she personally designed the story and emotions she wanted to convey throughout the album, clearly establishing her own unique color and world as "solo Dayoung."
Title track 'body' is a pop dance track as rhythmic as the heat of a summer night and as honest as the intuition of falling in love. The groove, created by a punchy beat and addictive hook, carries a message that goes beyond simple dance: "Emotions, and attitude, speak louder than words."
Through this song, Dayoung explores how to convey her feelings silently on stage. Rather than a dramatic love story, it's a song about freely expressing the emotions and attraction she feels in the moment. The star of this performance is someone who is more confident than anyone else, capable of expressing her love with just a glance. The single includes two more tracks 'number one rockstar' and 'marry me.'
