Vevo, the world’s leading music video network, announces the release of ZEROBASEONE’s ‘Live from Vevo Studios’ performance of “Lovesick Game” off their first full album, NEVER SAY NEVER. “Lovesick Game” follows ZEROBASEONE’s previously released ‘Live from Vevo Studios’ performance of “ICONIK.”
The ‘Live from Vevo Studios’ series offers emerging and established artists alike the chance to connect with fans through the art of visual performance. These artists can be their truest, most authentic selves with top-of-the-line audio and customizable lighting, further fostering the connection with their global fanbases, while building out their visual catalog.
ZEROBASEONE (SUNG HAN BIN, KIM JI WOONG, ZHANG HAO, SEOK MATTHEW, KIM TAE RAE, RICKY, KIM GYU VIN, PARK GUN WOOK and HAN YU JIN), have been making K-pop history with their signature dynamic and refreshing energy since their spectacular debut in July 2023.
ZEROBASEONE’s NEVER SAY NEVER, released on September 1, has sold over 1.5 million units within the first week of release, making it the group’s sixth consecutive million-seller since their debut, making the group as the first K-pop group to achieve six consecutive million-sellers. This milestone has further solidified their status as record-breaking artists and showcases their continued momentum. The album has dominated both physical and digital charts worldwide, reaching No. 4 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. NEVER SAY NEVER includes 10 diverse tracks with a variety of genres. The group’s first full-length album marks the brightest highlight of their journey and represents a bold expansion of their artistic identity and presence.
From the 10-track album, “Lovesick Game” depicts a tangled game of love. Built on hip-hop and R&B foundations in the Future Bass genre, the groovy rhythms and explosive synthesizer sounds create an immersive experience that feels like being pulled into the depths. Meanwhile, the title track, “ICONIK,” powerfully expresses their commanding presence and highlights each member’s unique charm and identity. Through lyrics about defying gravity to reach the moon, the song delivers the message that “regardless of what others think, we can become iconic on our own,” vividly expressing the nine young men’s ambition to shine even brighter in the future.
Through their first full album ZEROBASEONE have evolved beyond fifth-generation leader status into an iconic force that transcends generational boundaries. Building on this momentum, the nine-member group is also set to embark on their 2025 world tour, “HERE&NOW,” with 11 shows spanning across seven regions, kicking off in South Korea in early October.
