Boy Group ONE PACT Hits the Road for Their First-Ever North American Tour: New Wave Tour!

The band visited cities such as Minneapolis, Toronto, New Jersey, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. The group consists of five members: Jongwoo, Jay Chang, Seongmin, TAG, and Yedam. They debuted on November 30, 2023, with the extended play (EP) Moment.

The group name combines the words “One” and “Impact,” symbolizing “uniting together to create a big impact.” With members coming from former idol groups or Mnet hit show “Boys Planet”, the group formed under Armada Entertainment, and has released various bodies of music since their debut, including the Japanese single Until Now and their recent album One Fact, released on July 22, 2025, featuring the title track “Yes, No, Maybe.” This latest album also includes solo songs that showcase each member’s unique charms and artistry.

On October 2, the band performed in San Francisco at August Hall, where they met their fandom, &Heart. They opened the show with the song “FXX OFF,” a uniquely arranged track that begins with a classical and yet ominous sounding piano intro before transitioning into a hip-hop style. Paired with dynamic choreography and bold rap verses, the performance kicked off the night with a strong statement and fans were here for it.

Their second song, “Deserved,” stood out with its R&B-inspired beat, featuring a fast-paced  and addictive chorus. The choreography matched the tempo perfectly, blending sleekness with playful moves. Fans were so engaged that they chanted parts of the song in sync with the performance, highlighting the group’s strong stage presence.

As the show progressed throughout the night, the style of ONE PACT’s music and the group's overall chemistry were evident through their vocal harmonies and star quality. This was something clearly noticeable from the start, and as we have seen many different kpop bands throughout the recent years, what makes a group noticeable and set apart from every other group can sometimes garner difficulty. Main vocalist Jay Chang stood out in his role, yet the other members’ unique vocal tones were equally noticeable to the ear. While each member has distinct strengths, ONE PACT proved their individuality blends seamlessly as a unit. Their expressions, smiles, and clever choreography—like playful winks or throwing hearts at the crowd—matched the energy of each performance, as well as the production of each track garnered praise from writer and producer TAG of the group.

For instance, the song “Blind” showcased smooth, delicate vocals paired with fast choreography and featured impressive rap sections from TAG. “100” brought a funk pop-band sound that revealed a more playful and laid-back side of the group, which fans thoroughly enjoyed.

The members also shared snippets of their solo songs, much to the crowd’s excitement. Jongwoo performed “Passout,” an EDM-hip-hop track that highlighted his charismatic dancing. Jay’s solo “180928” offered a vocally emotional and controlled performance that earned loud cheers. Seongmin followed with “Signal,” a pop-EDM song that combined his silky vocals and sharp dance moves. TAG, the group’s producer and rapper, performed his self-written track “Someone Else,” which had a laid-back hip-hop reverb vibe. Lastly, maknae Yedam performed “Keyring,” showcasing his sharp dance moves and charming charisma.

Though only short snippets were performed live, the teasers were enough to make both fans and newcomers want to listen to the full songs on their latest album, One Fact.

The members also wrote handwritten letters (both in Korean or English) and some read in English to express their thoughts and gratitude to fans on a video. Though some members may not be fluent in English, fans reacted warmly to their efforts and hard work just to show appreciation to North American &Hearts.

One of the most memorable highlights of the night was the performance of their title track “Yes, No, Maybe.” With its charismatic and sultry vibe, the song had fans singing the chorus alongside the group. The crowd's energy was so high that they chanted for an encore three times, and the band returned to the stage with even more energy—closing the show on a powerful note.
