JURIN, the leader of XG, has made her solo debut as JURIN ASAYA, releasing her first single “PS118 (feat. Rapsody)” on November 18.

“PS118 (feat. Rapsody)” portrays JURIN’s evolution and identity as she travels through an infinite universe. The track captures her unwavering strength and her belief in her own path and frequency, unchanged by outside perspectives. With razor-sharp verses that blaze like a comet and beats that echo through the depths of space, the song expands the universe that is JURIN herself.

The track features Rapsody, a Grammy-winning rapper and a symbol of authenticity in American hip-hop. Over a foundation rooted in old-school hip-hop, the passion and energy of the two artists intertwine like a nebula, creating a powerful resonance that transcends generations and borders.

As the first solo release from an XG member—and also XG’s first official collaboration with a guest artist—expectations for this track are higher than ever.

JURIN commented:

“I’m so excited to release my solo single ‘PS118.’ For me, ‘PS118’ is a song about exploring and expanding my own universe.” She added: “Throughout this project, Rapsody and I deeply connected with each other’s journeys, exploring and traveling through our own universes. The whole process felt like we were flying through space together—it was pure fun! I hope you can feel our journey through the words and rhythm.”

Rapsody shared:

“I was blown away by her (JURIN’s) lyrical skill and performance! Especially since English isn’t her first language—she killed it! The verses were flawless and deserve respect! Jurin proved herself to be a true MC on this track, and it was a joy to share the mic with her! Fans can expect real rap, wordplay, and sharp rhymes. No fluff, just pure Jedi force.”

Music Video

Set against a stark urban landscape, the visual follows JURIN ASAYA as she steps onto the world stage for the first time as a solo artist, with Rapsody’s powerful presence accompanying her journey. JURIN appears in the middle of a city at night, moving forward with conviction and trusting her own direction, unfazed by the eyes around her. Her verses slice through the stillness as she asserts her path, while Rapsody’s lines weave seamlessly into her flow as the two navigate the city – moments where their worlds converge into one continuous current.

The tension peaks when their paths finally cross, each holding onto their own distinct aesthetic. In the final scene, a UFO’s light cuts through the night sky and illuminates JURIN, subtly marking the moment she ascends to her next phase. Visually, the piece adopts a raw, stripped-back style that contrasts her usual glamour, revealing a grounded, natural presence that underscores this new artistic chapter.
