Singer, songwriter and producer SUNMI marks a major milestone in her career with the release of her first full-length studio album, HEART MAID. Rooted in the key message of "comforting listeners' hearts through music," the album features 13 songs, led by the title track "CYNICAL."

The title track captures SUNMI's signature wit and charm that thrives on irony. The song poses the question "WHY SO CYNICAL?" to those who face the world with distrust, sarcasm, and pessimism, fusing sharp electronic synth riffs with an addictive chorus. Its accompanying visuals and performance, inspired by elements of horror-comedy and Korean ghost motifs, deepen the song's playful yet unsettling tone.
HEART MAID opens with the electronic intro "MAID" and unfolds through diverse soundscapes - from the retro synth-pop energy of "DDU DDU" to the band sound-inspired "BLUE!" and "Balloon in Love," as well as tender R&B and ballad moments.
