XLOV Drops it Low for First Mini Album, "UXLXVE"

XLOV have released their first mini album "UXLXVE" on November 5.

With their first mini-album, "UXLXVE," XLOV seeks to redefine the stereotypes surrounding negative thoughts and emotions, as well as the various expressions associated with them, through their own unique message.

Retaining the witty wordplay they've consistently employed since their debut, "UNLOVE" is replaced with an "X" for the "N" and "O." The album focuses on the concept of a "double negative," a negative number multiplied by another to create a positive. They emphasize the potential for positive change, embracing the message, "We don't have to constantly suppress our 'NO's," "Thoughts or emotions that seem negative have the right to be expressed," and ultimately, by meeting like-minded individuals, they aim to convey the message, "Everything can be clarified as a positive or correct answer."

This album embodies XLOV's bold approach to challenge. The diverse thoughts, like the minds of all beings who live while constantly colliding with various emotions, are expressed through diverse genres and stories. XLOV's stubbornness to not be limited to a single genre and the expression of their identity 'freedom' through various music genres and styles, along with the ambition that 'we become a genre in and of ourselves as we are', this album also aims to get closer to the public and fandom EVOL step by step with the lyrics and unique producing of member Wumuti, who is both the leader and producer. The track begins with the main title track 'Rizz,' a hip-hop R&B track based on 808 trap sounds.

The sub-title track 'Biii:-p,' which combines hyper-pop elements with powerful bass and expansive synths, 'Scent,' a sexy R&B number layered on a sticky, dense track, 'Dirty Baby,' a sexy, dreamy groove that expresses a unique voice for freedom within the trap R&B genre,

'Kiss and Say Goodbye,' a ballad featuring XLOV's signature dreamy piano sound and melody, and the final track, 'Drip Drip,' which combines the exciting UK garage rhythm of drums with the contrasting calmness of acoustic guitar.

With their UK/EU tour coming up in January and February 2026, we wanted to make the wait fun by celebrating the group and the fans!

We’d love to hear from you all! As Fandoms are at the heart of every K-pop group, and this community feels extra special. We want to spotlight your voices and show just how special the members of XLOV and the fans really are.
