Female Band LATENCY Makes Debut with 'It Was Love'

On January 8, the band LATENCY has made their debut.

Heeyeon, Jeewon, Hyunjin, Haeun, and Semi. The five members have walked different paths, but they have come together with a shared passion for music. Those moments in time are connected as one under the name LATENCY.

The debut single, 'It Was Love,' is a rock/metal-based medium-tempo song, a track that combines a strong band sound with an emotional melody.

It captures the regrets and moments of growth of youth with straightforward lyrics and energetic performance, and members Jeewon and Haeun participated in writing the lyrics, directly reflecting the team's narrative and emotions.

This song is a pre-release track that clearly shows LATENCY's unique style and direction.

'It Was Love' is not a song about the end of love, but rather a story about how the love received from fans and those around them became the strength that allowed them to move forward towards their dreams again.

"It's not the end of love, but a story of how love lifted me up again."

The song expresses the moments of regeneration and maturity that followed despair through its musical flow, and the escalating drums, guitar riffs, and vocal layers in the latter half powerfully depict the cycle and explosion of emotions.
