The Grammy Museum® presents TAEMIN: Performer. Artist. Icon., a new display showcasing two of the artist’s distinctive stage outfits and artifacts, celebrating one of K-pop’s most influential and enduring performers. Opening on April 1, 2026, the display arrives just days before TAEMIN makes his Coachella debut as the first male solo K-pop artist to perform at the festival and also marks the first display at the Grammy Museum dedicated to a solo K-pop artist.
“I’m truly honored to have my stage outfits displayed at the Grammy Museum,” said TAEMIN. “Each performance is a story I share with my fans, and these outfits and artifacts hold memories of those moments on stage. I hope visitors can feel the passion and love for music that has guided my journey.”
Widely regarded as a trailblazer in K-pop, TAEMIN first rose to international prominence as a member of SHINee before establishing himself as a powerhouse solo artist known for his genre-defying music, innovative choreography and cinematic visual style. The exhibit offers fans a rare opportunity to experience up close the artistry and fashion that have helped define TAEMIN’s impact on global pop culture.
“TAEMIN is a truly influential artist whose impact extends far beyond the stage,” said Kelsey Goelz, Grammy Museum curator. “His distinctive performances, innovative style and artistic vision have helped shape the global rise of K-pop. We’re honored to showcase these iconic stage outfits and artifacts that celebrate his artistry and cultural impact.”
Since his debut in 2008, TAEMIN has spent nearly two decades redefining K-pop and expanding the boundaries of the genre. He has released music that has charted internationally, sold millions of albums worldwide and earned major industry awards. Through his artistry, he has inspired countless contemporary K-pop artists, earning him the title “IDOL’S IDOL.”
