Global IP powerhouse CJ ENM is stepping up its K-content distribution efforts in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The company is looking to build closer ties with local broadcasters, streaming platforms and media partners and expand the reach of its Korean content across the region.

CJ ENM is taking a market-by-market approach in Europe, with a focus on local viewing habits, platform landscapes and audience preferences. As part of this strategy, the company participated in the 2026 Poland-Korea Brand Week, hosted by Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), engaging with local industry partners and audiences.

During the event, CJ ENM signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Cultural Center in Poland and KOCCA to facilitate the expansion of Korean content in Poland and CEE through closer collaboration.

The event also featured B2C activities for fans, including interactive booths for Lovely Runner and The Legend of the Kitchen Soldier. A special screening of The Legend of the Kitchen Soldier was also held, followed by a talk session with Kim Tae-hoon, Chief Producer, giving fans an opportunity to learn more about the series and its production.

CJ ENM is also expanding its distribution partnerships across the region. Notably, it has signed partnerships with TV Markíza in Slovakia and TV Nova in the Czech Republic, both owned by CME, one of Europe’s largest media groups, covering a total of 10 titles. The deals include a diverse range of CJ ENM’s popular scripted titles, further expanding the availability of Korean content across CEE.

“CEE is a market where we see strong potential for further growth,” said Sebastian Kim, Head of Content Distribution Business Unit at CJ ENM. “We will continue to strengthen our partnerships with local broadcasters and platforms, while expanding our content offerings and creating more opportunities for audiences to discover and enjoy K-content.”

CJ ENM has continued to expand its global distribution network through partnerships with broadcasters and platforms around the world. With its growing presence in CEE, the company will look to develop additional content licensing deals and local partnerships across Europe.
