Following the release of their latest digital single, "TUNED IN," ONE PACT is proving once again why they're one of the artists you can't miss out on. The five-member group — Jongwoo, Jay Chang, Seongmin, Tag, and Yedam — debuted under ARMADA Entertainment in November 2023 with the EP Moment, and have spent the years since sharpening a sound that's equal parts high-energy and smooth.
What sets them apart is how hands-on each member is in the creative process: from songwriting to concept direction, their fingerprints are all over their music, giving every release a distinctly personal, unmistakably ONE PACT feel.
This year marked a major milestone for the group: their KCON LA 2026 debut, where they took the stage at both the Toyota Music Den and the M Countdown Stage — a moment that introduced them to a whole new wave of international fans and confirmed what longtime supporters already knew: this is a group to watch. KpopWise caught up with the members to talk about their first KCON experience, the making of "TUNED IN," and what's ahead on their current world tour, "OUTSHINE."
KW: How does it feel to be making your first KCON LA appearance?
JAY: It’s an absolute pleasure for us to be here for the first time. For me, personally, I came as a fan many years ago, and so being on the stage as an artist is really cool. Seongmin, it’s his 1st time coming back in a while as well, so he’s really excited. We’re all just really, really excited to be on such a big worldwide stage and to not only show the fans, our fans here, but also all the other K-pop fans in the building a really cool stage. It’s been an honor for us.
KW: For those seeing you for the 1st time, what’s one ONE PACT song you’d like to recommend to them?
TAG: I would recommend you guys listen to 'Must Be Nice,' which is our debut song. And for me personally, I really like that album. It’s called ‘Moment,’ so please listen. All the B-sides are good too.
KW: What makes "Tuned In," your latest release, different compared to the others?
TAG: [Laugh] Oh, well, before ‘Tuned In,’ ‘1’Only’ Jay wasn’t with us, so, like, that’s the different point. He’s back with us. It’s a single album in a while. Also, this is the first time releasing ONE PACT’s fresh energy type song. Summer vibe.
KW: Were there any fun behind-the-scenes stories while preparing for this comeback?
JONGWOO: Yes, well, as I mentioned earlier, since Jay participated in this album, and it has been a while since the five of us practiced together, the atmosphere and everything else was really great. I also feel like our stage energy has gone up even more, so I’m very happy.
KW: What can fans look forward to for your upcoming tour, ‘OUTSHINE’?
SEONGMIN: Starting with KCON LA, we will be traveling all the way through North America, South America, and all the way to Toronto. We want to show our energy and our music, and we also want to create a tour where both the new &heart and the existing &heart can enjoy themselves.
KW: For the last question, are there any final messages for &heart?
YEDAM: We successfully held the world tour and KCON this time, so are you ready to go even higher? Yes! Scream!
