2021 Melon Music Awards Date Announced

The 2021 Melon Music Awards have now been given an air date.

Scheduled to be held on December 4 at 6pm KST, the Melon Music Awards are set to air exactly one week prior to the Mnet Asian Music Awards, giving December the kick-off to the awards season that fans have been waiting for.

Kakao Entertainment’s Lee Je Wook, who runs Melon, released the following commentary:

“With diverse content exclusive to Melon, MMA 2021 is a global festival that artists, music fans, industry officials, and anyone who loves K-pop can participate in and enjoy together.”

The Melon Music Awards have been running every year since 2005. Like last year’s ceremony, the 2021 awards will also be held online.

The Melon Music Awards 2021 ceremony will be available for viewing on Melon, KakaoTV, and 1theK’s YouTube channel.
