The multi-talented group D-CRUNCH has recently come back with their 3rd Single Album "Addiction" on March 25.

KpopWise was fortunate enough to have a chat with the members O.V, Hyunwoo, Hyunoh, Hyunho, Chanyoung and Junseung, and ask them questions that their fans, DIANA are curious about.
First of all congratulations on your comeback! DIANA are very proud of you.
During the time the group was inactive, you treated us to various mixtape songs showing your individual colors. Many DIANA want to know what are the lyrics/composition processes of the members and where do you get your inspiration from?
Hyun-wook: All members
of D-CRUNCH are always working on their mixtape, and during the inactive
period, they are trying to show Diana various images by releasing the mixtape,
but the writing and composing process of D-CRUNCH is more spontaneous than I
thought! If there's an object that you're hooked on, I think you're starting to
add flesh while writing melodies and lyrics! In my case, there are so many good
dramas and movies these days, so I think the emotions I feel while watching
those media are often inspirational! The same goes for books. The other members
might be a little different!
멤버들의 작사/작곡 과정은 어떤 모습이며 어디서 영감을 얻습니까?
현욱 : 디크런치 모든 멤버들이 항상 믹스테이프을 작업을 계속하며 비활동기에는 믹스테이프 공개로 디아나에게 다양한 모습들을 보여드리려고 노력하고 있는데요, 디크런치의 작사, 작곡 과정은 생각보다 즉흥적인 것 같아요! 뭔가 꽂히는 오브제가 있으면 거기에서부터 멜로디와 가사를 쓰면서 살을 붙여 나가는 것 같습니다! 저 같은 경우엔 요즘 너무 좋은 드라마나 영화가 많아서 그런 매체를 보고 느끼는 감정들이 영감이 되는 경우가 많은 것 같아요! 책도 마찬가지이고요. 다른 멤버들은 조금은 다를 수도 있어요!
What is your favorite lyric
among your songs?
O.V:
When I stand at the end of the day, I want to be a happy person.
It's the lyrics in the
mixtape "Jaja" that I released. It's what I think every day when I
lie down in bed and what I want. I hope the people who listen to this song will
do the same.
당신의 노래 중에서 가장 좋아하는 가사는 무엇입니까?
O.V:
하루의 끝에 섰을 때 행복한 사람이 되고파 난
제가 냈던 믹스테이프 ‘자자’ 라는 곡에 있는 가사에요. 매일매일 제가 침대에 누울 때마다 하는 생각이고 또 원하는 바이기도 합니다. 이 노래를 듣는 사람 또한 그렇게 되었으면 좋겠어요.
How long does it take to memorize the comeback
choreography?
Chanyoung: For the choreography of 'Addiction' in this album, we
learned the choreography first and worked on the details, but it took about a
week to learn the choreography and details.
컴백 안무 외우는데 시간이 얼마나 걸리죠?
찬영 : 이번 앨범의 ‘중독’ 안무는 안무를 먼저 다 배우고 디테일 작업을 했는데요, 안무와 디테일까지 다 배우기까지 일주일 정도 걸린 거 같습니다.
If you were an animal, what
animal would you like to be?
Jungseung: If I can be an animal, I
want to be a wolf! The reason is that since I was young, I have felt that
wolves are cool, and I think howling at night and living in groups is really
cool, so I want to be a wolf!
당신이 동물이라면 어떤 동물이 되고 싶습니까?
정승 : 제가 동물이 되는 상황이 온다면 저는 늑대가 되고 싶습니다! 이유는 어렸을 때 부터 늑대라는 동물이 멋있다고 느꼈었고 늑대가 무리 지어서 생활하는 거랑 밤에 하는 하울링이 정말 멋있다고 생각이 들어서 늑대가 되고 싶습니다!
What Korean drama do you
recommend?
Hyunho: It's "Thirty-Nine" (2022) I'd like to recommend. While watching this drama, I was very moved and
sympathized with the appearance of warm friendship, so I would like to recommend it
to you.
추천하고 싶은 한국 드라마는 무엇입니까?
현호 : 제가 추천해 주고 싶은 ‘서른아홉’입니다. 이 드라마를 보면서 친구의 따뜻한 우정이 담긴 모습들을 보며 많이 공감도 됐고 감동을 받았기 때문에 여러분들에게도 추천해 주고 싶습니다.
Is there anything you want to learn?
Hyun-oh: I think learning is really good and I'm always thirsty for learning. I want to learn English and Japanese for languages, piano and guitar for instruments, and tennis for sports. But the thing I want to learn the most is to keep improving my vocals! I'm learning a lot by myself, but I want to hurry up and end Koro so that I can find and learn from someone who can lead me freely.
뭐 배우고 싶은 거 있어요?
현오 : 저는 배움은 정말 좋은 것이라 생각을 하고 항상 배움에 목말라 있습니다. 언어는 영어, 일본어를 배우고 싶고 악기는 피아노와 기타를, 운동은 테니스를 배우고 싶습니다. 하지만 그중 제일 배우고 싶은 건 제 보컬을 계속 발전시키고 싶어요! 많은 것을 독학으로 하는 중인데 얼른 코로가 종식이 되어서 자유롭게 저를 이끌어줄 사람을 찾고 배우러 다니고 싶습니다.
Which country would you like to visit?
Jungseung: Any country! We want to
go to all the countries where D-Crunch is located! I miss our overseas Diana
fans so much!

정승 : 어느 나라든! 저희 디크런치를 보고 싶어 하는 디아나가 계신 나라에 모두 가고 싶습니다! 해외 디아나 분들 너무 보고 싶어요!
What motivates you to
continue to work hard and do your best?
Chanyoung: Diana. I think Diana's
reaction to doing something makes me do my best. I'm happy to see Diana happy,
and I want to make a better impression.
무엇이 당신을 계속 열심히 일하고 최선을 다하도록 동기를 부여합니까?
찬영 : 디아나. 저는 무언가를 했을 때 보여주는 디아나의 반응이 저를 더 최선을 다하게 만드는 것 같습니다. 디아나가 기뻐하는 모습을 보면 저도 기쁘고, 보다 더 좋은 모습과 인상을 남겨주고 싶습니다.
What do you want to say to
DIANA?
Hyun-wook: It's been a really long
time since we came back, and we'll show you a lot of charms so that you can
feel that D-CRUNCH has a lot of charms that you haven't shown before! Thank you
so much for waiting and looking forward to it! Let's make more happy memories

O.V.: Diana! I said hello
