NCT's Johnny attended the U.S. Met Gala event on May 2nd.
The 2022 Met Gala event was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on May 2nd. Couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King as hosts, and NCT's Johnny attended the gala.
Johnny appeared in clothes designed by Vietnamese-American designer Peter Do. The costume was specially designed for Johnny following the Met Gala dress code "Gilded Glamour," he attracted eyes by showing off sexy and chic charm with a black silk satin duster long coat over a shirtless vest and straight fit satin pants.
According to Vogue reports, Peter Do, who accompanied Johnny, said, "I'm very happy to dress NCT Johnny at my first Met Gala."
"It’s the perfect blend of classic with what fashion is now – everything is tailored perfectly for me, so I feel comfortable and confident," says Johnny about his look. “Growing up as a teenager in the States, I’ve always seen all of the stars I loved attending. I'm looking forward to the fashion of other stars."
Met Gala is a charity fundraiser held on the first Monday of May by picking a specific costume theme and inviting celebrities every year since 1948.
Meanwhile, Johnny's Group NCT 127 had its second world tour "NEO CITY- SEOUL THE LINK" at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul in December last year and will continue to perform in major cities around the world this year.
