All KARD Members Renew Contracts with DSP Media



The four members of the mixed-gender group Kard have renewed their exclusive contracts with DSP Media for another 3 years. 

DSP Media said, 
“Recently, we discussed future activities and visions with card members BM, J.seph, Jeon Somin, and Jeon Jiwoo. A deep consensus was formed and all three-year contracts were renewed. We plan to give full support to Kard so that it can perform vigorously both at home and abroad in the future.”

Kard released their pre-debut song 'Oh NaNa' in 2016 and created a big sensation both in both Korea and abroad, including on the global music charts even before their official debut. In the K-pop market, where boy groups and girl groups are unilateral, they appeared as a new form of a mixed group and received attention, broadening the spectrum of K-pop to global fans and establishing themselves as a 'K-pop representative mixed group'.

With the release of their fifth mini-album 'Re:' in June, Kard successfully completed its first comeback activity after merging with RBW, as well as a complete comeback in 1 year and 10 months after member J.Seph was discharged from the military. The initial sales of this album recorded a figure five times higher than that of the previous album, proving that global recognition and fandom are expanding day by day, even during a hiatus due to military service.

Kard's Latin American tour starting in July, performances in major cities in countries such as Brazil, Chile and Mexico have already sold out quickly, so additional performances have been confirmed. Thanks to this momentum, from August, a North American tour touring 11 cities in the United States, including LA, Washington DC, New York, and Dallas, will also be held, so that the explosive love from global fans will be enthusiastically received.
