Hallyu! The Korean Wave: The Exhibit Comes to London


Hallyu! The Korean wave is making its way to London this Autumn, the exhibit which will be showcased at the famous Victoria & Albert (V&A) museum aims to highlight the color and popular culture of South Korea. The exhibit will explore the global impact on the creative industries ranging from Cinema, Drama, Music, Fandoms, Beauty, and Fashion.


The term Hallyu has been coined as a collective term when referring to the growth of Korean culture. The name which is a Chinese term translates literally into ‘Korean Wave’ which has become a phenomenon thanks to music, movies, K-dramas, and Korean cuisine to name a few.



Tickets are on sale now, opening on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, and will run till June 23rd, 2023. Members' concessions are free, this is sure to be incredibly popular so booking ahead is advised. Tickets can be booked here


The exhibition is supported by the Korean Ministry of culture, sports and tourism, and genesis. Alongside additional support from the Bagri Foundation and Netmarble Healer. B.
