The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards have recently announced that YG Entertainment's superstar Girl group BLACKPINK will be having their first ever performance of upcoming pre-release single "Pink Venom" when the awards ceremony is held in just under two weeks.
Last year, BLACKPINK became the first ever K-pop girl group to take home a Moon Person for winning "Song of the Summer". This year, they are nominated in the brand new category of "Best Metaverse Performance".
Member Lisa is also the first soloist to ever be nominated in the K-pop category for her self-titled track "Lalisa".
