BTS X Yet To Come X Hyundai Version to be Released September 23

Another announcement from the BTS camp armed with new music once again (are you all keeping up?). Hot off the heels of V’s Vogue photoshoot, J-Hopes ‘Rush Hour’ collab with Crush, warm-up with Weverse, and the BTS x Cookie Run the latest addition is Hyundai Motor announced that it will release the official sound source for the Goal of the Century campaign. The company which is in partnership with BTS will see the band release a British rock remix version of BTS’ “Yet To Come" which emphasizes the climax to deliver the cheering message for ‘Goal of the Century’ and anticipation toward the World Cup. The single will be released on Friday, September 23rd at 6PM KST on all domestic and foreign music streaming platforms such as Melon, Apple music, and Spotify.

Hyundai chose BTS for the campaign  “As one of the most influential global artists in the world, BTS and their music greatly influence our society to develop in a positive direction. Through the World Cup campaign with BTS, we hope to create an opportunity for people all over the world to unite towards one goal of sustainability and cheer each other up,” said Jaehoon Chang, President, and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company. The campaign song utilized the original lyrics and added lines such as “Now the vision is clear, the Goal of the Century is here”. Plus, the song is also filled with lyrics such as “I know, together, we’ll make it better” and “We’re gonna run till a new tomorrow” in hopes to create a better future together.

‘Yet to come’ was of course released on June 14th as the main feature track from the band's Anthology album ‘Proof.’ After the success of the single, fans will no doubt be eager to support the English version too. Accompanying the single will be a full-length music video on Hyundai’s official YouTube Channel, of which a sneak peek trailer can be seen below.

YTC will also encourage fans to get involved and spread the message further, Hyundai Motor will launch a TikTok challenge #TeamCentry12 on October 1st for global fans to enjoy via Hyundai’s official TikTok account (@Hyundai_worldwide). The #TeamCentury12 challenge illustrates the Goal of the Century’s solidarity message through a simple dance move that shows a shoulder-to-shoulder action.
