Rookie Group NewJeans Breaks Records On Spotify

Rookie girl group
NewJeans is smashing global chart records.

According to Spotify, NewJeans has accumulated over eight million listeners for the month of September thus surpassing all fourth-generation KPop girl groups.

Additionally, in early September, NewJeans' self-titled EP track “Attention” debuted at number 200 on the ‘Top Song USA’ Spotify chart. This is the first time a K-pop debut song has charted this high on the mega streaming platform.

Also, “Attention” has peaked at number thirty six on Spotify’s ‘Today’s Top Hits.’ NewJeans joins BLACKPINK and BTS for that much-coveted spot.

In addition, NewJeans' entire discovery has been streamed over one hundred million times on Spotify.

They have also become the first girl group in history to have multiple songs from the same album reach number one on South Korea’s Spotify ‘Daily Top Songs’ chart.

Congratulations to NewJeans! Readers, don’t forget to visit KpopWise often for more Kpop news.
