After becoming viral with the visual videos showing the members’ individual talents, XG announced on Thursday, January 5, the official date of their long-awaited comeback with the third single “SHOOTING STAR”. With an avant-garde and thrilling concept, the new track will be released on January 25 along with its official music video. Pictures showing the members' visuals were published on the group’s social media. This new era will leave ALPHAZ (the name of their official fandom) in awe.

Signs of a possible new song started at the end of December with clues from the group’s social media. On January 1, fans became even more curious after the publication of the video “Wish Delivery APP”. The announcement of “SHOOTING STAR” was awaited by the millions of fans of the septet managed by XGALX.

XG’s third single “SHOOTING STAR” aims to reinforce the group’s singular and strong image with new outfits and a bold concept. On January 25, the septet will evidence its innovative reputation and capture the attention of new admirers.

The group - which has an influence of hip-hop and R&B - consists of URIN, CHISA, HARVEY, HINATA, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA. Together they debuted in 2022 with the single “Tippy Toes”, gathering attention due to their irreverence and innovative performances. The first comeback with “MASCARA” reached the top of iTunes in 17 regions and was included on Spotify’s Viral 50 playlists in 21 regions. XG’s impact became more evident after the release of the video with the rap performance “GALZ XYPHER”, which popped their fans' bubble and made the group be considered revolutionary by artists like Jackson Wang.
