BTS Set to Release New OST for Upcoming Animated Series ‘Bastions’ May 12th

 


New music from BTS is coming soon with a brand new soundtrack release, having announced they will feature on the upcoming South Korean animated series ‘Bastions.’ The single is due for release on the 12th of May.


On 14th April South Korean TV network SBS released the opening title sequence of the yet-to-be-titled song. The 30-second preview is an uptempo, funk, disco beat with pitch-perfect vocals from the vocal line.


“BTS is expected to provide an overwhelming sense of immersion to the emotions and action scenes of the series by singing the theme song in perfect harmony,” the show’s production company Timos Media said in a statement to Yonhap News Agency. (1)





Alongside the band, other K-pop musicians such as Le SSERAFIM, Brave Girls, Heize, and Alexa will also feature on the soundtrack.


September was the last track the group released in collaboration with Hyundai’s 2022 Goal of the Century. The single was a British rock remix of “Yet To Come” an English version of their June 2023 “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” from the anthology album ‘Proof.’


Each month has more or less seen a solo debut from each member, showcasing their individuality and creative expression in their unique way. April sees rap line and producer Min Yoongi unleash his alter ego Agust D with his third album and final installment in the trilogy D-Day’ on 21st April. Alongside the album, a documentary will be released on Disney+ ‘Road to D-Day’ premiering on 21st April.
