BTS Jungkook Releases 'My You' and 'Still With You' On Spotify

The comeback of BTS' Jeon Jungkook has started, and his new songs "My You" and "Still With You" have been released on SoundCloud, much to the joy of his fans. The two singles are the next batch of BTS songs to be freed from SoundCloud, and it is also where each member's past mixtapes have been released before their solo debuts.  With Jungkook’s solo debut confirmed “With You” and “Still With You” were announced as the next two.

As of 3rd July at 1 pm KST, both are available to listen to on Spotify. "With You" is the Festa song of 2022, dedicated to ARMY. Upon release, Jungkook wrote:

When I think of all of you, sometimes the emotions I feel are so overwhelming that I often wonder what would happen if all of this disappears or if this is all a dream. I've had this thought. So I wrote a song based on these thoughts, and I thought the mood of the song could be too depressing/sad so I tried to fill the lyrics with beautiful/pretty words. It's a song only for you, and I hope this song will make me who made this song and all of you who will listen to this song become more hopeful, make each of us shine and be a strength. ARMY, thank you always, and let's make more good memories together! My ARMY, I love you.”

This slow-paced ballad showcases Jungkook's impressive vocal range, the track was accompanied by a heartwarming lyrical animated video.

"Still with You," a self-composed song, was initially released on SoundCloud in 2020 and later included in the Proof Anthology set in 2022. However, the demo acoustic version was only made available on CD three and not digitally. The track is hauntingly beautiful, once again showcasing Jungkooks vocals and proving why he’s labeled the golden Maknae.

After the official release date for” Seven” was confirmed as July 14th, the schedule for the lead-up was revealed on Saturday, July 1st. Consisting of a music video, posters, and behind-the-scenes, the schedule poster itself is seeing a more revealing side to Jungkook with abs and no shirt. In relation to the description of the single Jungkook revealed in his latest Weverse ‘He wishes to showcase a different side that fans haven't seen before.’ Perhaps the single isn't to be the romanticized message the fans had envisioned.

Alongside the release, fans can look forward to the member's book Beyond The Story: 10-Year Record of BTS, a book which the members co-wrote with journalist Myeongseok Kang. Due for release Sunday 9th July. Are you looking forward to Jungkook’s solo debut? Be sure to follow KpopWise for all the latest on your favorite idols!
