Korean-American entertainer, singer-songwriter, and actor Eric Nam released his new single, "Don't Leave Yet." Listen here! The track was written by Eric Nam, Rabbit (Jason Yik Nam Wu), Boy Matthews, and Christina Galligan.
Alongside the new single, Eric also premiered the video for "Don't Leave Yet." A true multi-hyphenate, Eric was involved in the screenwriting and creative direction of the music video. Produced alongside creative team 37th Degree (BTS, NewJeans) and choreographed by world-class choreographer Kyle Hanagami (BLACKPINK, CNCO, Justin Bieber), the video is set at a decadent dinner party complete with lavish food and glamorous guests, yet Eric is disconnected from the party happening around him.
"Don't Leave Yet' is my take on a dance song," Nam shares. "I wanted to flip the typical dance song on its head and thought about those situations where you or your friend don't want to go home and stay out dancing instead. Maybe you want to get your mind off things in your life, and this song is saying - we can just dance it all out and stay here as long as you'd like. I'd like to think it's my version of an uplifting "I'm there for you" kind of moment, but in a fun dance song."
"Don't Leave Yet" follows the release of the lead single "House on a Hill," the title track from Eric's forthcoming album.
