STRAY KIDS to Perform at the MTV VMAs for the First Time


On August 22, MTV announced that the boy group STRAY KIDS is set to perform as part of the artist lineup for the MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards) this year. 

Stray Kids will perform a 'special' performance at the 'MTV VMAs' held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA raising their global status as a K-pop trend. 

The title song 'S-Class' ★★★★ (5-STAR) will be performed for the first time on an American broadcast. The album won the No. 1 place on the 'Billboard 200'.

S-Class is nominated for the Best K-pop category this year alongside songs by aespa, BLACKPINK, Fifty Fifty, SEVENTEEN, and TXT

Stray Kids appeared in the 'Best K-Pop' category of 'MTV VMAs' last year with the title song 'MANIAC' from the album 'ODDINARY', which topped the Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200' for the third time in K-pop artist history. 

'MTV VMAs', which started in 1984 and boasts a history of more than 40 years, is counted as one of the four major American music awards ceremonies along with the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Music Awards.

The VMA will air on September 12, at 8PM EST.
