xikers are Back with 2nd EP "House of Tricky : How to Play"


K-pop super rookies, xikers, are crossing boundaries, charts, and shooting for new records with the release of their 2nd mini album ‘HOUSE OF TRICKY : HOW TO PLAY’. This marks the first release after their record-breaking debut album back in March of this year. The EP is out now on global platforms. Additionally the music video for 'DO or DIE' has been released. 

 


 

xikers released their highly anticipated 2nd EP on August 2 after a month of teasing the music with colorful photos and visually stunning elements for the concept of the music. ‘HOUSE OF TRICKY : HOW TO PLAY’ marks the second chapter to their narrative.

 

‘HOUSE OF TRICKY : HOW TO PLAY’ contains six tracks - featuring ‘DO or DIE’ and ‘HOMEBOY’ as the double title tracks. Members MINJAE, SUMIN, and YECHAN, known for their work in the lyrics of their debut EP, also participated in the lyric writing for all the tracks of their new release.

 

The EP encompasses their ability to take on a variety of concepts, switching from the explosive energy of ‘DO or DIE’ to the lyrical and sweet charms of ‘HOMEBOY’ with ease. As the excitement grew, the group even shared a performance video of the track ‘Koong’ ahead of the official release date, impressing viewers with their unbridled energy perfectly channeled into a mesmerizing choreography and song, garnering them over 10 million views on the video alone (at the time of writing).

xikers made an explosive entry into the K-Pop scene last March with their debut EP, 'HOUSE OF TRICKY : Doorbell Ringing'. The album featured two title tracks, 'TRICKY HOUSE' and 'Rockstar,' showcasing the group's versatility.

 

Wasting no time in making their mark on the global stage, the group debuted at No.75 on the Billboard 200 chart, merely two weeks into their debut. Continuing their chart-topping success, xikers collected massive achievements on several other Billboard charts for a rookie artist, landing at No.41 on the Billboard Artist 100 for the week of April 15, No. 4 on the Billboard World Album Chart, and No. 1 on Billboard's Emerging Artists Chart, proving their international appeal and growing fanbase.c

 

Selling over 100,000 copies in just their first week, xikers displayed their immense popularity with their position as the fifth highest-selling rookie boy band album in Korea (at the time of release). Notably, the music video for their title track 'TRICKY HOUSE' garnered an incredible ten million views within the first 24 hours, a testament to their global popularity.
