The maknae known of course for his all-around pop star qualities, and golden personality has taken a bold approach to his solo debut. Each member has explored genres and displayed various concepts that have suited their persona, taking bold risks in the process. Jungook has had fun being playful, and risky, and has taken a left turn with his collaborations. Those choices have paid off, his first single “Seven (feat Latto) debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

He continues to strive to seek out shedding his young image which some may still associate him with. However the release of his second single “3-D (featuring Jack Harlow.)”  The lyrics and music video highlighted not only his charm, and popstar power but the new mature side he sets out for everyone to see.

His anticipated solo music had perhaps been envisioned by some as ballad tracks similar to that of “Euphoria” or “My You.” Instead, his solo debut has without a doubt been full of many surprises. Yet fans have seen him have fun with his releases. Having delivered surprising and enjoyable tracks, it’s showcased his growth and confidence. His upcoming album, 'Golden', will surely be full of even more shocks, surprises, genre exploring, and well-conceptualized ideas. The pre-orders for ‘Golden' begin at 11 AM, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 (KST.)
