Stray Kids to Make UK Debut at BST Hyde Park London this July

Stays the time has come; Stray Kids are finally making their way to the UK. The beloved mega group consists of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, IN, and Seungmin. Since their debut in 2017 and formed by JYP Entertainment, they’ve gone from rookies to superstars, releasing their debut EP Mixtape in 2018, which planted them at the top of the Korean charts as they climbed the charts around the world.

Their latest comeback in October 2023 saw them release their fourth studio album, the incredible eight-track Rock-Star, which featured the title track LALALALA, a full-throttle number that blends various genres such as rock and rap. Following their lead single, the follow-up release and music video for MegaVerse saw an appearance by Epik High’s Tablo, hinting at future collaborations. Known for their distinct sounds, unique vocals, and intense rapline, also known as 3racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), they have built a reputation for themselves by writing smash hits such as Topline, Gods Menu, and 5star.

Since their debut, they’ve made a name for themselves not just in their home country of South Korea but internationally. Their latest comeback saw them create record achievements, picking up an MTV Video Music Award for ‘Best K-Pop' as well as a Billboard Music Award for Top K-Pop Album for their latest record, 5-Star.

Recently the group teased their plans for 2024, in their annual edition of the ‘Step Out’ video series earlier this month. The content saw them look back on what they achieved during 2023, alongside hints of two new albums, and an upcoming world tour.

In an exclusive show, the group will headline American Express Presents BST Hyde Park on Sunday, July 14th. The headline spot will mark their debut appearance in the UK, and fans can expect Stray Kids to deliver an electrifying full live set, showcasing all their chart-topping biggest hits on the iconic Great Oak Stage. A show that will no doubt delight fans, in a statement the group exclaimed, “To all our UK STAYs, we cannot wait to see you at BST Hyde Park! This is our first time performing at a UK festival, and it is such an honour to play in Hyde Park, where so many legends have played before us. Come dance with us!
