SHOWNU of MONSTA X Represents Korean Brands at New York Fashion Week 2024

Shownu
, the leader of Monsta X, made a stunning debut at Fall/Winter New York Fashion Week 2024 to promote Concept Korea as an ambassador. Concept Korea began in 2010 to showcase some of Seoul's fashion brands to the global audience. On February 13 at STARRETT LEHIGH in New York City, Shownu took to the runway to represent three Korean founded collections; MMAM, CHARM's, and KIMMY.J

MMAM  was founded by Hyun Park, focusing on modern classics with a minimalist silhouette. It's reinterpreting the human instinct for childhood play through drawing, MMAM transforms clothing into wearable art.

CHARM'S is a ‘post-contemporary’ brand based on the ‘Sensual Attractiveness’ and is lead by Yohan Kang.

KIMMY.J juxtaposes street wear with classic items,

with clean silhouettes and sophistication and was founded by Heejin Kim and Haeun Lee.

Shownu's hard work in practicing for the event was evident in how natural he looked as he went down the runway in the fashion pieces. The Concept Korea runway shows can be viewed through New York Fashion Week's channel.
