Hello, and welcome back to Band Class. If you are unfamiliar, Band Class is an attempt to bridge the gap between Korean bands and the international Kmusic fandom. While idol groups continue to grow in popularity and visibility, it remains somewhat difficult for many Kpop fans to find and learn about the plethora of bands providing a soundtrack to Korea's nightlife.
As Kpop fans we're accustomed to getting a great deal of information about our faves, but when you begin to delve into lesser-known groups and bands, the information is harder to access. I hope I can make that search just a bit easier for you.

Today, we meet BADCUPID. After some lineup changes, BADCUPID is currently a trio that is working with session drummer EERO from Synsnake, who was featured previously on Band Class. BADCUPID will release a single album, "WIZARD" on June 8, 2025, and is currently working on a reboot album, set to be released early in 2026. Vocalist Kyeom says the album will feature only vocals, drums, guitar, and bass with the goal of creating a more advanced sound.

"The name BADCUPID was made from a combination of easy words. And we created an emblem to symbolize the name. Like the ironic name BADCUPID, our song has a powerful but emotional melody."
