Hearts2Hearts, the newest girl group from SM Entertainment, returns with their second single ‘STYLE’, arriving just in time for summer.
‘STYLE’ is an uptempo dance track that blends disco-house beats and groovy basslines with Hearts2Hearts’ bright, bubblegum-pop vocals. In contrast to the dreamy and mysterious debut single ‘The Chase’, this new release showcases a fresh side of Hearts2Hearts and their undeniable chemistry as a group, made up of members JIWOO, CARMEN, YUHA, STELLA, JUUN, A-NA, IAN, YE-ON.
‘STYLE’ was co-produced by GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Mike Daley and producer Mitchell Owens, alongside Adrian McKinnon and Sara Forsberg, who collectively boast a long list of credits on other global K-pop stars, including Girls’ Generation, SHINee, and NCT, alongside other renowned artists such as Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake. The lyrics – penned by hitmaker KENZIE – capture the playful curiosity of someone with a confident sense of style.
“The central message in our music focuses on powerful energy and the beginning of dreams,” A-NA shared in an interview with tmrw. “We aim to inspire and encourage listeners to pursue their own aspirations with strength and determination, no matter where they are on their journey.”
JIWOO added: “As Hearts2Hearts, we hope to grow into a group that naturally brings strength and joy to people through our music and presence. We want to be a source of positive energy that can brighten someone’s day, even in small ways.”
Hearts2Hearts are the first girl group launched by SM Entertainment since global superstars aespa five years ago. ‘The Chase’ dropped to enthusiastic support, currently sitting at over 47 million global streams on Spotify.
Hearts2Hearts is set to make their UK debut performance next weekend at SMTOWN LIVE in London on 28 June at The O2 Arena, alongside over a dozen of their labelmates including Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, aespa, RIIZE and more. The epic concert is in celebration of the legendary K-pop entertainment agency’s 30th anniversary. Limited remaining tickets are on sale now via AXS.
