Hyolyn released the digital single ‘SHOTTY’ and music video on
September 2. ‘SHOTTY,’ contains the message, "My life is not your
story." Hyolyn herself participated in writing and composing the lyrics. Layered vocalizations drive the track like a
single instrument, and Hyolyn's story is casually told over a heart-pounding
beat, making this a memorable track.
The released music video was created in collaboration with
world-renowned choreographer Janelle Ginestra, who choreographed the song. By
expressing Hyolyn's story through dance, "SHOTTY" transcends a simple
